Langtang

Langtang Valley Trek

A week in the valley north of Kathmandu — glaciers, Tamang villages, and no domestic flight.

Langtang is the trek we recommend when you want mountains without a Lukla flight. A road transfer from Kathmandu reaches the trail in a morning, and you are in a high valley within a few days.

Kyanjin Gompa is the heart of the route, with optional day hikes toward Tserko Ri if the weather is kind.
